Product Description:

These clearly illustrated cards are designed to help children think before they act in difficult situations, as well as promoting good social behaviour. There are 65 cards depicting 6 different scenarios, plus 10 help cards.

They cover the following situations:
1) a child’s reaction to parents arguing
2) children witnessing violence at a bus stop
3) the possible kidnapping of a child at an amusement park
4) the exclusion of a child by a group of children and a child on skates knocking over an elderly woman.

Children turn over the starting card and are then given a choice of 2 direction cards which the story can go in. They then use the remaining cards to develop the story. The intention is for children to discuss the scenario as it develops, as well as suggesting help cards (such as police, telephone and passers-by) that might aid the situation.
