Viewpoints – picture stories

Everybody perceives the world from their own perspective. Often different perceptions of the same situation can lead to misunderstandings and arguments. However, recognizing that there are different viewpoints is already a first step towards understanding and getting on better with each other.

Each of the six picture – stories shows an event from two different viewpoints of the children and adults involved. There are the two pupils, who both want to win the race, or the mother, who has allowed her daughter to go to the cinema in the evening, but then becomes very restless when her daughter is not back at the agreed time.

The story lines are not a matter of something being true or untrue, but simply reflect two different perceptions. Understanding is only possible when both perceptions are communicated and taken into consideration.
